Going on my second set of cables on a Quest Primal that I bought last Feb.
1st set, the serving began to unravel at the cams after a few months of pretty heavy use. Replaced under warranty at local shop.
2nd set being replaced as a result of cable guide post backing out of the riser causing abnormal wear on the cables
Again, being replaced under warrany as soon as they get here.
These original factory cables have very little stretch with time (permanent elongation). Trying to decide whether to put another set of factory cables on again, or should I just buck up and put on premium aftermarket cables?
