Saturday night when the guys were here, my dad called and told me that he drew an Elk tag for the area that we drew in 2007. He's extremely excited as am I, my buddies and I are going to put in for Mule deer tags in that area so we can help call and pack out for him. He's taking the entire month of September off to fill his tag.:hater: Guess he's getting some kind of stimulus :deer: There is a possibility that he'll get a moose tag in the same area. So... September = game on.

    Low Blow!!!!!:bash: :d

Yes, that's where we killed the elk in 2007. We called in 22 different bulls in 8 days, which was awesome. Here is the video of the 5pt that came down right after I shot my spike. 5pt and a spike He stood broadside at 45 yards for like 5 minutes. :bash: :bash: :bash:

Dubs is a wonderful pig guide! It's not his fault the hogs were afraid for their lives and refused to show themselves!

Good luck to the old man this fall, Dubs!! Sorry you didn't get drawn as well, but maybe you'll find something to spend that on, eh?

They could feel the aura of death in the air.... They were terrified beyond your wildest imagination.

Best of luck to Pops on the Elk and to you on the Mulies :d

Good luck to your pops, my grandfather and great uncle are hoping to head out to Co. again this fall chasing elk. They keep trying to get me to head out but for some reason I just can't agree to it, its not the money but more or less that it would be cutting into my archery hunting for whitetails. Someday within the next few years I will take them up on the offer to atleast go out there, hunting or not.

Dubs, did you end up putting yourself into the Special Lottery?

Either way man, I am certain the Mulies and Elk are in trouble.

And when the pigs show up, please send the trail cam photos of what we missed. ;)
