I generally buy a few console games over the course of a year that totally suck so wasting money on games isn't out of the ordinary for me, at least I'll get a lot of enjoyment out of this one.

Yeah this game is a lot of fun, especially once you get more weapons and can hunt all the species.. I have pretty much everything thing in the game except a couple of the camo patterns and some weapons. Now you just need to get yourself a bow, the snakebite it nice but I like the Parker "Python" it's a lot quieter.

I have some in game money left, don't know if it's enough or not. I saved back a few hundred for stuff I didn't know if I'd need or not. I didn't know if I wanted to buy a bow or not.

I'm heading to work here in a bit, I might be on later after work if I have time. You should really get a bow if you want can spend a little extra on the game. The game can be a bit of a money pit, but for a pay to play game compared to a lot of the other games on PC, it's actually not that expensive. Plus it's a game they constantly are adding new things to it, new reserves and animals you don't have to pay extra to hunt.

The Parker is $700EMs and the Snakebite is $500EMs I believe. It's just nice to have a silent weapon so you're not scaring everything from shooting a gun all the time. Sometimes you'll get those pesky doe that troll the crap out of you and the best way to get them out of the way is silently with a bow.

It will come with arrows thay all work about the same. you can get the tracers but the cost extra and don't replenish like the arrows that come with it. don't buy ammo for any of your weapons, you have unlimited ammo with any weapon you own with a full membership.

Yes, I bought a three month pass/membership last night after Nate and I had series of hunts. I played around on there a bunch this morning (more than I should have). I nailed a 160" class blacktail on there this morning with my 30.06 and a few mule deer doe with my bow. That buck was coming right to me but he was so big I couldn't stand to chance a shot with the bow, lol.

Oh, and what are the exclamation marks on the map? I went to the one and couldn't find anything, under that rope bridge. Tried to go to the other but fell off a cliff and died. Had the cruse control set and was grabbing a drink, didn't see it coming haha

The bear paw just signifies there's something to track, either a track or something calling nearby. Left mouse click will make the handheld device show what's nearby when that bear paw sign flashes. As for the exclamation points, I have no idea. Yeah, I'd try to avoid walking off cliffs, haha.

I'm all for that, group hunts on there are fun. It's a little tricky to chat and negotiate terrain at the same time though, lol. Also my avatar was way slower than Nates and I kept lagging behind, I finally know how my dad always felt on our hunting trips, lol.
