WV early bow season

    West Virginia just recently had an additional week of bow hunting running through September 14th to 19th:cool: :nana: :nana: , I know its only a week but I am excited first chance to ever bow hunt early season and the other thing is you can only harvest does but I don't care I will be in a tree and I will be happy......the also added and early muzzle loader season .

    wish PA would do the same but then again our game commission can't manage deer to save their lives

    Was born and raised in WV. I wish I was still there. But in NC now and our bow season begins Sept. 12th and lasts a month.

    Yes its pretty good down here, but nothing beats WV in my book. I grew up in Parkersburg but had a cabin in Harman (Near ELkins) that me and my dad went to every weekend to hunt and fish. Damn I sure do miss it.

    Man that really stinks you guys only a month for archery season, up here in Ohio i goes for sept 26 to feb 7.

    I am really familiar with both Parkersburg and Elkins, I have relatives in Parkersburg and I have trout fished in Elkins many times, I live in Lewis County.
