I'm a long time Denver fan and i was pretty excited to see Manning come to Denver. But Brady is a better QB. Manning chokes when it counts. Last night, perfect example.
What? That was an absurd statement. You can manipulate stats however you like. Stats most certainly lie.
I would agree with this. Manning has the better stats when you talk wins, td passes, yards. ect. But, the stats that truly count, playoff wins, championships, Manning falls far short of what Brady has done.
Both have been statistically great QBs their whole career. So I tend to then weight playoff wins, head to head match ups, the clutch factor of last minute game winning drives, etc. Brady has a pretty substantial lead in all of those categories. I don't think anyone can argue the fact that the Broncos most definitely have the better team right now, but it won't surprise me when the Patriots yet again out last them in the playoffs. Cause Brady is better lol
Same here...and I cannot stand it even more to admit, he is the greatest of all the active QBs out there....yes above Manning, yes above Brees and yes above my Rodgers.
No, Brady wins more big games, and Manning wins more meaningless games. If you were in a superbowl who would you want as your QB? Brady or manning?
Manning. Do people forget that Brady lost his last SB, with one of the greatest teams of all time, to a very mediocre Giants team?
To describe that Giants team as merely mediocre is ignoring the fact that team quite possibly was the hottest team ever entering the playoffs and throughout it...they were playing far above mediocre, above great, they were playing elite football (ala Green Bay style when they made there run, but I'd say even better).
If I'd kept listing QBs yes, eventually....although it'd taken a couple posts before I'd gotten to him
Not an excuse at all. The Giants weren't a mediocre team though. Brady did lose that game no way to hide it.
