I didn't think eagles were endangered anymore. I see them all the time hanging with crows eating road kill.
Hell anything with a pulse that can be killed is threatened in Texas. Seems odd that they would post a picture of a juvenile, even stranger that there were no charges pressed by the F & W.
The Bald Eagles down here seem to be somewhat smaller than the ones y'all have up north. Best that I know they were taken off any kind of endangered list completely in '07 but there definitely isn't the population like in the north. Hell Im not gonna lie, I didn't know they even existed down here until I saw my first one about 9 years ago. And yes Sota there are some "necks" in Texas but every stated has their bastard children that they aren't proud of. lol
Oh don't get me wrong about Texas. What doesn't have thorns or burs is poisonous and wants to kill you, best to be armed and ready.
Well ya got me there. If it doesn't try to bite or stab you its probably still out to get you. Just looking for sheds I come back home bleeding and boots full of thorns.
I was in East Texas space shuttle recovery we had pvc rain suits and they got shredded when we gridded thru the thickets, tin cloth chaps are the way to go.
