Your in Louisiana right, there must have been a truck full of flour roll over in your yard. If you were further north, I would have thought it was snow.

It's a bird bath... But the water in it is frozen so it's safe to walk on...

I think this year the term is Polar Vortex? Or Global Warming or El Nino? In a few years there will be a new term?

Definitely not El Niño. You'd trip if you saw what a real El Niño winter is like in Cali. What is happening is the jet stream over the pacific took a huge jump to the north this year. Caused by an unorthodox high pressure system. California is getting screwed for rainfall and after the dryer than normal past four years we are in trouble. Resiviours are drying up that feed local communities. Fish ( native steelhead) and other wildlife are being effected by this. We haven't had rain at all this season. On the flip side the jet stream dives back down in a hurry right over the Midwest causing all of this crazy freeze back yonder. Good news is the predictions say the high pressure is subsiding an the jet stream may begin to return to normal in feb. lets hope so.
And yes this pattern has happened before long long ago. Many believe the geo engineering is the cause for this one. I'm kinda on the fence. They can do some pretty wicked stuff with the haarp machine tho. (High altitude auroral research project) <------<< Pretty scary stuff

Let me guess. All of Louisiana is shut down and a state of emergency has been declared. Is there a run on milk and bread?
