WTB: hook style wrist release

    I was looking at the Fang and the Rhino but I just don't understand them. I like the hook, but does the strap twist while you're pulling back? Or does the release have a pivot in it? Also the excess strap, does that get tied in a knot to hold the correct length or do you tighten it down with the screws to hold it in place?

    The release does not need to pivot. The one in your picture is setup for a lefty. You tighten the strap down with two screws and a retaining bar then trim the excess.

    And imo, by far the best system for a wrist release.

    Even the carters use the scott buckle.

    Well I decided to stick with what I know and bought a new Tru-Fire Edge Extreme.
