Would definetly entertain other camera head ideas that anyone may have as long as they are a quality head.

That doesn't look like a bad head. Think I am going to order the 701HDV head this week.

I had a 700RC2 and hated it. Got the 501 and then they came out with the 701 shortly after. Damn the luck. The 701 is the head to get.

Been searching and it looks like with free shipping B&H is the best place to get it from. Gonna order when I get back home from a few days hunting! And I have a new camera arm on it's way also! Now to just get a real good camera but that will be awhile! Still looking forward to using this with my small handheld until then!

Glad to get your opinion on that guys. Was also thinking that if I am going to spend that much money on a head what is an extra $30.

From everything I have read and heard it is definetly a great head. I can't wait to get my new arm and head and get out in the woods to try it out. To bad I don't have an awesome camera for it yet but that will be coming too! For now I just use what I have!
