Me too. Once I started using one, I felt naked without it. Though I've never had any issues either way, I guess its just a peace of mind thing.
If you own a parallel limb bow, then it should NOT "jump out of your hand" after the shot. That being said, I like having a sling. Makes holding the bow feel very secure. I have an adjustable one so I loosen it when I wear gloves.
I feel weird if I shoot a bow without one, does it make a difference? Not really, and I have never even come close to dropping my bow after the shot.

I was taught to use a sling adjusted out 3-4 sizes to big This allows the bow to jump ( my bow did ) out of my hand slightly and not have to worry about dropping Relaxed grip and not grabbing to create torque after the shot would be the most important IMO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
