Brothers of the stick and bow:

I fell down while doing chores and sprained my wrist and now shooting has gone south! Do any of you shoot with a wrist brace on you bow arm?

Never have shot with a brace before, but we do have a guy at work that wears one on a regular basis. He said that when he first started wearing it, he felt like it was doing its job. His wrist slowly started to depend on the thing, and now he feels he has to wear it all the time.

it shouldnt matter if you can be comfortable with the brace on just make sure if it does change the way you pattern when you shoot just be sure that when you stop needing to wear the brace that you wean yourself off of it or you might be stuck depending on it to shoot, my reccomendation would be to try not to move any of the pins or you would need to redo everything without the brace

I would love to use a crossbow too, but North Dakota will not allow it. I was hitting dots at 25 yards so I think it is only a question of time. Do you think I should rest and heal up and not shoot my 50 arrows a day.
