I just got my third squirrel of the year. I started to walk up on one and one ran right to 4 feet from me. No picture this time because my phone is charging.

Went and shot from the kneeling position at 20 and 30 yards. I'm up in the air right now about putting my practice broad heads on. One of the vendors I deal with is making the switch from Muzzy to something else and said he'd give them to me, so I'm thinking I'll start my broad head tune within the next couple of weeks.

In about about 4 weeks I will start shooting broad-heads. Wreckless if I was a squirrel I would be scared:ninja:

MX-3. My brother in law got them and with changing weights this year, I figured it would be a good option to try.

"Bad to the bone" brother.I used Muzzys for a few years.Always a great bloodtrail.I shot a Whitetail one time in Texas at 25 yards, the deer hit the ground spun in about three circles and got up and ran about 75 yards.I gave it about 30 mins. and took off down the red trail.Great heads to say the least.

That's the hope. My bowhunting sage, Tom, said that he's tried a lot of broad heads, but he's taken more game with an 85 grain Muzzy.

I just asked one of the mods to change the title and I'll run this as my season thread.

I've wanted to run a season thread for a couple years, just never did it. Figured it was already started.

Got a summer storm rolling through today. So glad I put my target in the truck last night.
