185-200 inches... Everybody is going to shoot except those goons who get paid for buck kills on camera. You should asked a more reasonable score. Some thing like 145 inches.

Well said buddy! I couldn't agree more! I felt the same way 2 seasons ago and nearly drove myself and my family crazy trying to self film a big kansas buck kill. When the opportunity came, I missed my chance at my biggest buck to date trying to get the camera in position. I was devastated! I hung up all the camera gear after that and wanted to focus solely on becoming a better hunter. The next year I did just that and killed my best buck to date, and enjoyed the heck out of that season. Filming may be for some, but it's definitely not for me. It added stress to something that's supposed to be about fun, relaxation, and connecting with the outdoors.

The last thing I gave a crap about is having stuff on film. I'm a hunter...if a good buck is in front of me I'm shooting.

Shoot! I do it for fun not pay and opportunities are far and few between. Never seen a 185 class deer so the camera would be the last thing on my mind.

-Xoutdoors "shooting hours timeline is just a guide by the dnr. in reality if you can see through the deer with your drawn pin. its legal shooting hours. if you cant see through your pins. thats close shooting hours."

Not to be smart, but with that logic you could shoot a deer at 2 in the morning if there is a full moon and snow on the ground since the moon illuminates the snow and the deer stand out like a sore thumb.

I think you better check with your DNR on that.... It's not a guide.... Why do you think they post the sunrise / sunset table with the adjustment guide? I am not saying I am a clock watcher but don't think for a minute you won't get a fine. I've seen guys get tickets for not unloading their guns on the way back to the truck after sunset.

I realize that, the first paragraph of my post was me quoting Xoutdoors, the second paragraph was my response.

I have never seen one like that in the woods. Seeing as I just shot my first doe this season I would miss. I mean shot him
