I'm curious as to the Union haters here.... if you ever had the opportunity to join a Union, this would mean better Pay and Benefits than you're getting now and also put your Family in better financial way

Would you Join...a simple yes or no will do fine!

I voted no, I was in a union and it made me sick. The problem in your example is peop-le needing the unions like a crutch because they can't provide by themselves. People can do alot better without them from what I have seen.

I have been at a metal fabricating shop that voted in a union ..... worst thing that happened to my family. .. I lost pay while slugs got more pay .. and they voted me in as Unit Chairman ..... so it's not always a better deal ... it wasn't for anyone but the slackers at our place .....

So people would not take a job with better pay and benfits for their family?

I would do the reverse also, leave a union job for a better pay. I always put family first.
