    The more you and Peak mention your observations of the stand at the ATA show, and what I'm reading online, the more I agree with you.

    Agreed. Platform also looks like it would hold every flake of snow that falls in it's direction. No thanks, I'll pony-up the extra $ for another Lone Wolf.

    I think I would have to pass as well. I mostly use climbers though.

    Likely not.. I had the cold weather thing in mind to but also, i think warpage would happen to. look at the platform its already curved.

    The one thing I noticed at the ATA show about the sticks were how NOISY they seemed to be. Plus, the sticks were VERY VERY narrow as I recall, making it almost impossible to put two feet together on one single rung if you are wearing a pack boot or rubber boot.

    I'm sure that the plastic is strong, but I wonder what happens to its integrity when it's exposed to the elements over time.
