    Today is probably one of the worst days, weather wise, you would want this time of year. It's raining, mostly light, which I don't have a problem with at all, but the wind (9-12 mph) is not the right direction for the stand I want to hunt. Since it's the rut, would you hunt it anyway? My rut hunting time is running out!

    Tough question, how sure are you are the deers path of approach by your stand?

    Wouldn't hunt it on wrong wind. Either hunt another stand (since it is the rut and anything can happen) or, if you really like area, hang another stand or take a climber where wind is to your advantage.

    This is the ONLY reason I considered hunting it anyway.
