Pretty simple really, I actually already stated my feelings... I prefer my meat to come from a pasture not a lab is all

Because you do not have to

But...say there comes a day where "natural" beef is no longer safe to consume. Neither venison or lamb or whatever "natura" meat you can think of. And they perfect this lab grown beef to be 99.9% identical to "natural" beef. It tastes the same. It looks the same.

And you are just craving a good, juicy burger.

    You would eat it.

I just find it funny that they can probably grow meat that will be closer to natural beef than a fast food burger.

Yet everyone here has had a fast food burger.

Or spam, or scrapple, or potted meat food "product", or a hot dog, or American Cheese(read the label closely many say cheese "flavored" dairy product).

I would eat one of these with some Facon and american cheese.

Not sure how accurate it is anymore and I don't feel like googling it but I thought I read somewhere Taco Bell uses Grade F meat. I have crushed many meximelts in my day, I have a feeling they are worse for me than lab meat.

It's fun to dream and fantasize. The truth is it will never happen on a large scale.
The media hype gives us fun stuff to think about, but when you look at reality and talk to experts you see the truth.

Not a bad article, but the author lost some creditibility by referring to humans who eat meat as "carnivores". The author is either ignorant or a vegan with an agenda. I'd bet on the latter.

I don't think carnivore is a bad word. I know article really puts the hookers to bed. Pun intended.
