I'm on the fence whether to camo dip my bow. If I did it would be realtree snow camo. I would dip the riser, cams, quiver hood, and maybe the all black parts on the stabilizer.
However, it would have to look like it came from the factory like that (not overtop of all of the decals).
    The limbs would remain tactical.

I know a guy that will do it crazy cheap. Also, I have put a few small gouges in the riser from this last hunting season.

Just wanted to get your all opinion on what you think it would look like.

Give it a shot. Your gut will tell you your choice but that is a nice looking bow as is. Consider weight..

Ive been looking for tactical limbs so my Z7 would have tactical limbs with lost camo riser. Give it a shot, bet it will look pretty good!

It's a Mathews, it looks as good as possible now without changing to a Hoyt, lol.
    Now now...I'm just kidding.

I think it looks nice now but I certainly understand a desire to "change things up" from an aesthetics POV. Sounds like it would look pretty cool as you described too. I'd probably go for it, if you don't like it you can always buy a new bow and that would be a great excuse anyway, lol.

Haha, I was using dipping it as an excuse not to buy a new bow!

I'd say go for it. Would look sweet but don't do it if you bought it new as it would void the warranty. Post pics if you get it done!

Yea, you can always just get another bow if you don't like it, they're only about thousand dollars for a good one. No problem! lol

    I appreciate it.

I'm not really a brand loyalist, just shoot what I like to pull and I really like pulling this bow.
My archery shop had a bear motive in snow camo for the longest time. Every time I would go in, I would take if off the rack and look at it. It just looked so cool. Same with the elite that was snow camo. Just really like it.

Plus it's different. How many snow camo mathews extremes have you seen!?

The voided warranty would be the worst part

Bro just get a different bow specifically for hunting. Plus Nick_P is right, it voids the warranty.

I got the bow used so technically it doesn't have a warranty anyways (I understand this can be overlooked).
I don't have a use for more than one bow. I really like having one bow that does everything.

Hey Marty! I really don't have a good reason. The finish has a few spots where it was hit or scratched during season and by a previous owner.
Mostly though, I have always wanted a snow camo bow but am unsure if it would look good or I just think it would look good (I ask because I don't want buyer's remorse if you will).

well, I certainly have no experience with owning or liking that configuration - camo riser & parts with black limbs. mine is all camo and matching patterns. seems most black/tactical guys don't like camo, from conversations I've had. A google image search for "camo bow riser and black limbs" brings up some examples and I guess I'm not a fan. looks hacked or something - "WHAT?!?! you ran out of matching parts when you were putting it together?!?!?!?!" but I wouldn't let my opinion persuade ya one way or another... I'd never own a red or a white vehicle, but plenty of people drive them and like them...

but... it doesn't really matter to US if we like it... what is your gut reaction? it's your bow!

I'd be more concerned about the process of taking it all apart, dipping it while protecting places that need protecting - cam grooves, axle/bearing interfaces, etc., and getting it to all fit back together and perform as expected. I assume someone experienced would be doing all of this. and like you, I certainly wouldn't want to end up with something I didn't like in the end!

It would look bad *** in snow camo...you csn get accessories in that camo to match to...the stokerized stabilizer comes to mind...or you can dip your current ones with the bow...either way it will look pretty sweet...looks good right now to by the way

I know I have seen a snow camo bow on here before. Maybe Rocky? I think they look awesome and if that's your reasoning for doing it, I'd say go for it!

If i was going to dip it it wouldn't be in such a common pattern like Realtree. Realtree bows are a dime a dozen and you never recoup money back on if/ when you sell it.

I would go with something unique.....for example....

Yeah I have often thought about not having a peep on my bow to save some weight as well.

My bow is has a black riser with camo limbs. To go tactical I only need to change out my limbs. :)
