I probably would be more successful because everytime i've had chances at deer and haven't taken a shot was due to yardage and my confidence to make that long shot. Give me a rifle I would be fine, but thats not the point its more exciting to bowhunt anyways.
Not sure if this is what you meant but I was referring to no archery hunting or archery season, just hunting with a gun during firearms season.
