Would you attempt a shot at a bear from the ground with your bow?

Spot and stalk black bear hunt is on my wish list. So yes I would shoot one from the ground.

Yep. Never tried, but I wouldn't hesitate.

If I'm ever given the opportunity, I'll hopefully get it on video with my bow mounted cam. Heading into the darkness now....maybe today is the day, LOL. :)

It's amazing so many people have the misconception that the black bear is some menacing creature.

Only way I'll ever hunt them. Not a fan of baiting myself.

In a heartbeat! Tried to make it happen this year, just didn't have the funds.

If I had the right shot I think I would take it. I've only seen bears at the zoo, so just seeing a bear in the wild would be a rush for me.

That's my goal for next year if I can get a tag again or whenever I can. I'm thinking up nice and close to the bait, hoping to try with recurve, and 44 mag right next to me for confidence

I agree about the skiddish part. I think it wouldn't be scary but more the challenge factor, with a touch of anxiety for after a shot. I was about 16 and in tree for mine. It would make it an awesome experience
