Depends on how good the hunting Is at the moment but for the most part football or no football It generally don't have much of an effect on my deer hunting. I've missed a few hunts but not too many regarding football.
No NFL season would make many of my drives home from Ohio a LOT easier. Then I wouldn't have to plan my trips around getting stuck in Steeler traffic.
I stopped watching most professional sports a long time ago. TOO many million dollar cry babies that can't play with a hang nail!
This is exactly how I feel Steve. If I have alot confidence in a set-up that day I will go out. If there is a big Packer game on and the hunting is slow, I will stay home and relax. As mentioned before, I can always follow the score on my phone.
The NFL is gonna play this year.. Even if they didn't it would have no bearing on my hunting time. I'd much rather be hunting than watching tv anyway.
No, the lack of Brett Farve in the league will allow me to spend less time on the NFL. R.I.P. GUNSLINGER.
I don't watch television but 2 or 3 hours a week. That is.. until September. I am one of those guys who can sit on a couch and watch 7 or 8 hours of the NFL. If there is no football.. I will absolutely be more apt to hunt. Just the way it is.
Wont affect me,,,the only football I watch is superbowl. I loved playing backyard ball as a Kid,,two broken arms and a nose doing it, but just dont get into following it on the tube.
That too !!! I am just not a sports fan at all. My brother is and Tyler is. I will watch a movie or two on TV after hunting season is over. Tim
