Assuming you live in a state that allows hunting on Sunday, will you be in a tree more this fall if there is not an NFL season? To me, it's the silver lining of no football on Sunday's. More time to hunt.
Has absolutely no bearing on my hunting time... most of the time, I miss most football games anyway because I'm busy doing other things. Like hunting.
I'm with Greg. Love my Bears football but I love hunting more. The only thing I'll miss is Monday Night Football. Sent from my HTC Incredible
I am fortunate enough to hunt 20 minutes from the house...my falcons usually play at 1PM, so after they are over I go to the tree. If there is no football, I will just go earlier.
I don't even skip hunts for the buckeyes..... I set the dvr and make sure to not check scores or read texts from any of my buddies who are into college football. And come on... Like the falcons aren't perennial bottom dwellers like my browns :D
That's what sportcenter is for. I was in the tree for the playofffs I'm not going to miss a hunt for a regular season game. So no it doesn't matter to me.
If there were anything for me to miss tree time because of, it certainly would not be football. I like to watch it from time to time when the Colts are playing someone good but thats if its on when I am not hunting or doing something hunting related. So the answer is no.
The way the Vikings just drafted it is probably a good thing there might not be football. The owner must feel this way about the General Manager and Scouts though.
I won't sacrifice my hunting time for watching football. I missed the entire Super Bowl this year to sit the last evening of Ohio archery season...and it paid off, I put down a doe.
I honestly don't even watch any sports whatsoever. I couldn't even tell you the month the NFL starts playing. I will only watch highlights of the Packers because of Jordy Nelson
First off I love my colts. However, unless i'm at the game or tailgating at the stadium, you can find me in the woods. I can keep track of the score and get play by play through texts. As a follow up question: How many deer do you think have been passed on because the hunter was too busy texting / playing with their phone? lol
Being a Die hard Packer backer yes it probably would offer me more hunting. I work 3rd shift Sunday mornings and get off at 8am and I get to bed about 9ish and wake up at 1pm. It usually takes me 2 hours to get the cob webs out and by this time its 3pm and im not going anywhere.
I enjoy watching football, but its not going to make me miss a hunt. The weekends are my prime time to be in the woods anyways.
