    Awesome! I almost got a doe last season with my self bow and arrows.It was a whole different experience even though I didn't get a shot.

    Good video.

    I hunted with trad bows for a lot of years before my back surgeries, and I also made bows for about 10 years. I made both selfbows and laminated bows.

    My all time favorite bow I made, osage and cocobolo 64" take down longbow. I made it for my mule deer hunt in SD in 2006. I even made the antler burr limb bolts from sheds I found and used buffalo horn a friend gave me for the inlays.

    What an awesome video!

    What I would give to be able to hear an elk bugle like that in person! Someday I'll go on a hunt for one.

    awesome video! that is what archery is about getting close. not shooting 50+ yds or sitting 30' up in a tree. didn't see any fourwheelers or side by sides in that video. that guy is definitely diehard.
