If you didn't hear, Tiger missed the cut for the PGA championship.

I'm pretty sure he won't become dominate anymore. But that doesn't mean he won't become a force to be reckoned with again at some point. Perhaps winning quite a few majors yet. It is possible.

Consistent injures is becoming a major problem for TW. They will likely prevent him from breaking Jack's record IMO.

So, your prediction please. Now that you are armed with more info. Is Tiger washed up or what?

I am not a golfer, but what I see is a guy whose whole world has came down. he was very private, and that all changed and he is not struggling with all phazes of his life.

think about it, the most famous golfer...hell the most famous athlete in the world was having the romps he was having and not one sinlge blood sucking tabloid got word of anything until his wife found a text at the house and he crashed his car into his own tree... That is as closed up as a circle can get, once the circle broke, it seams that everything else did as well.

Now for golf, it seams that he is at that age where the body struggles to do what the mind wants it to do, when it wants it to do it. that is with any sport, not just golf.

If he does "win quite a few majors yet", is he not dominant? He's definitely not the force he once was, but I'll never bet against him.

I said it from day one on that thanksgiving day. Tiger is DONE! Period! Ive had this discussion 500 times with people since then and everyone is still clinging to hope of a Tiger return to dominance. Simply isn't going to happen. I actually won $50 this week by going out on a limb and betting someone he would miss the cut this week.

Golf is the most mental sport there is. Tiger was dominant because his whole world was invincible. He could do whatever he wanted. Directly translates to the golf course. Its a mental state of mind of being the man. He could hit any shot he wanted to at anytime, he could dominate the field at will, he could make a 15 foot putt to force a playoff or win a tournament just because, he could win the masters by 12 shots, he could hit a 190 yard impossible bunker shot to a green surrounded by water to win a tournament because he wanted too, etc...... All becasue thats who he was and that was his mindset. The second he got exposed and his world crashed so did who he was on and off the course. His confidence and dominance is simply gone and NOT coming back. Its just something you can't force yourself to have. His biggest attribute was his head. There are a LOT of good ball strikers and talent out there. Tiger was different because he was the man on and off the course. Now he's not. Nobody fears him anymore and everyone knows it including him. And every single tournament he plays in like this knocks his previous invincible ego down a few more pegs. There really is no way for him to get it back. He's another decent golfer out there at best. Yes he did have a talent level higher than his peers, but again because of his mindset. And to be honest it wasn't that much greater than the rest of the tour. He just struck fear into the rest of the field. No chance of breaking jacks record. He may at some point win a tournament or maybe another major. But in the end he is an ordinary joe on tour these days. And that will never change

I don't think he could survive 2 days of Big Break at this point. I've been saying for sometime he was done. Before the infamous wreck I said he wasn't playing enough. How can you stay competative only playing once every month or two. I'll never understand why someone who was so on top of his game decided he needed a new swing, a new coach, a new caddie. Not only did he do it once, but twice... and yes we're now on the third coach/swing change. And look at some of his stats. One day he only hit 2 fairways. How many times was he in fairway bunkers. Left...right... all over the place. Obviously he's screwed his own mind up. He's played 6 rounds of golf since Augusta.

Good bet...... Who will get a win first, Tiger or Dale, JR???? I think Tiger is likely done ever being the dominant force because he no longer has (pardon the pun) the "Eye of the Tiger." He needs something focus and drive re-instilled into him to become the golfer he once was. If he can rebuild is ego, he may have a chance to return to greatness, if he can't get it back, then he's DONE!!!
