The Malouf's destroyed the Sac Kings. Who trades and lets go almost your complete starting line-up the year after you go to the Western Conference Finals and get robbed by the Lakers? The Kings have been a joke in the NBA ever since.
Glass also put a lot of faith in Moore, even after the Trey Hillman debacle. Think they both turned a corner and are (obviously) headed in the right direction.
I guess I'm a pretty crappy owner. I only make it to Brown county about every other year since the kids have been born. All joking aside, Haslam. I can not see a scenario where the Browns get things turned around with him calling the shots.
The attendance at the Trop is not a unique problem to Tampa, baseball games will always draw the small group of diehard fans that love the game and will go to games to see specific teams come to town and play. The casual fan will be interested and go to games when the local team is winning or in a pennant chase. A huge part of the problem of drawing fans to the Trop is the stadium but a bigger factor is where the stadium is in St Petersburg. Not sure if you have ever been in the area where the stadium is but it is a traffic nightmare to get there from the north and the south as well as from the east even on a good day. Basically if you go to a day game or night game at some point you are going to have to deal with traffic from hell.
I have heard that. Something about crossing a bridge, right? Still, ownership doesn't have money, and low attendance makes it worse. The Brewers always have great attendance, and they're still in the bottom tier of revenue Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
