Sugar Bowl - Florida vs Louisville
Orange Bowl - FSU vs NIU
Rose Bowl - Stanford vs Wisconsin

    WTF?

These are horrible matchups. The Cotton (Texas A&M vs OU) and the CFA (LSU vs Clemson) are better matchups than all 3 of these. Horrible.

    They do suck.

I wanted UF to play Oklahoma. It's a joke that Florida plays Louisville, a team that's not even ranked, as the reward for the season they had.

If it weren't for the huge pay increase and "prestige" (I can assume this only helps in recruiting), I would have rather Florida played in the Cotton, CFA or Cap One against a good team than in the Sugar against the Big East.

    Do away with automatic bids.

This line up features No12 Fla St, No 15 NIU, No 21 UofL, and 5 loss Wisconsin.... What a joke. Meanwhile number 7-11 are left high and dry for their better seasons.

I think the BCS just wanted to give a big F you after the 4 team playoff passed.

College football is making it harder and harder for me to like it.

Dude, LSU should be in the Outback Bowl with Michigan. I would have been so happy.

But no, LSU gets crapped on in the CFA, and SC and Texas A&M get better bowls, while LSU beat both of them, and is ranked higher. Terrible.

That would have been cool. We could have made a decent wager...and I would have ended up with a terrible avatar for a month.

In 2006 the Badgers went 11-1 and didn't get a BCS bid and then beat the SEC west division champs in their bowl game to finish 12-1. Sometimes you get screwed and sometimes you get lucky. It's the way it is with a bowl system.

I'm not as pissed now that LSU is playing a joke for a BCS bowl. I wasn't happy that Florida got a BCS bowl since Georgia lost to Alabama by 4 points and dropped down to #7, but the Capitol One Bowl should be a good game, may actually go to it.

I think he's happy UGA got a better bowl than LSU for a simplified translation.

Most of the bowls suck IMO.

I would have like to see

    Oregon vs Florida

I like Michigan and SC, though I think clowney is going to have a field day.

    Florida st vs northern ill?

I think so too... Lewan is toast!

Although, I do want to see UofM win the game. Maybe a win will help them close out their recruiting class so tOSU doesn't have to be the one and only relevant program in the B1G moving forward.

Well being our current class and the one before ranks higher, I am not too worried:)

Being the Gamecocks owned Tressel and OSU, hush up.

You should be... Your classes are all O line and LB... No elite WR's or RB's to speak of.

You guys will be a poor mans Wisconsin if you do not get some skill position players in there ASAP.

You have no idea how any recruit will turn out, LOL How is that stud running back Rod Smith doing? All I heard is how great he will be, he's nothing but a speacial teams player.

I really like Devon Smith, I hope we can develope him. It's about developing talent. Will Campbell is a great example, he sat for two years not being developed under RR staff. He's not a game changer, but he is a decent DL these days, he was a 5 star coming out of HS.

Looking at your current recruits, nobody stands out, looks like a bunch of spread players.

RBs will never do anything in Meyer's offense. It is all about the QB.

Rod Smith has busted big runs when given the opportunity. Loads of talent but has had a couple fumbles limiting touches. He is only a sophomore. He averaged almost 7 yards a carry with 3 TD's, only 2 receptions but housed one for 51 yards this year. Hard to get carries when you have Hyde beasting it ahead of you.

Smith went to my High School. I think he will be solid but not elite. He is powerful but does not have the break away speed.

Hyde had 970 yards rushing this year with 16td's missing 2.5 games with an injury. Not to bad.

Also, you guys are fooling yourselves if you do not think his offense will evolve playing in a cold weather climate. I am not saying a whole sale change, but there will be plenty of new stuff he never did in FL.

Big difference playing in the South and up here.
