We all know the self proclaimed worlds worst bowhunter. If you havent noticed then you need a check up from the neck up cause he has it as his signature with 800 size font. Well I figured I could give him a run for his money.
A few weeks ago I moved my trailcam to an awesome location by a brook. There was so much fresh sign and instersecting trails in this hot spot of a swampy wonderland. I was psyched!! Most of the trails came down from an oak grove. So Im sure most guys would hunt this spot in the am waiting for the deer to make their return. Anyways I set up my trailcam 4' up a tree that was kinda snapped in half about 6 feet from the brook. I went there on thursday to go check the SD for pics. I get there and the whole area has been flooded! I am standing at the shore looking out and I cant even see the tree the camera is strapped to. I bust out the GPS and find its a 100 yards ahead. The water is over 8' deep 6' in front of me I cant imagine how deep it is at the camera!! I am going to take my kayak out to see if I can atleast see it. So there you have it! Worst bowhunter ever! Theres my story, now let the harrasment begin!
BTW this is the 2nd time the rising waters have screwed me over! First time I thought it was due to hurricane Irene. Its hard to pattern deer that arent even patterned due to the changing habitat!

Kyle that is so funny, but not so funny. So that means your camera is under 4 feet of water? Maybe you'll get some nice pictures of bass! Sorry!

Hey, at least you have water. It's been so dry here. We haven't had a good rain in at least 2 months.

Good luck fishing for your camera. :tu:

Good luck finding the camera and if you do...I hope it still works! How much did the river swell in ft from the edge of the normal river to where it is/was when flooded?

I'll bet $$ that the last pics it took were ducks swimming by and then it was submerged. I will Laugh my butt off if there are pictures of fish!! So with that being said any trailcam reccomendations. The watercam was a M-80 moultrie. It was just OK.
