You can't lump everyone in Illinois to Chicago, w3 hay that town just as much down here in central IL.

Perfect example, the conversation had with one of my buddies that a cubs fan. Was saying how much he hated bandwagon fans so I said don't worry dude I still hate the cubs. So he replied well then your not a fan of baseball if your not rooting for the cubs. Being a cardinals fan that's not possible.

Actually, they do show up. The Brewers ranked in the top 15 of baseball in attendance, even though they were rebuilding.....

Slow clap. You're talking to a Cubs fan about rebuilding

    All in good fun.
The NL central is great. We need to join forces to beat the red birds!

    Go Cubs!

    I'm done

Indians did what they had to do tonight. Cubs still the favorite in my book. Go tribe

I picked Cubs in 6. Chose us to lose game 1, win game 2...take 2 of 3 at Wrigley and then Game 6.

That said I wouldn't object if we ran the table now

Worst time of year is after the Super Bowl, and before MLB opening day. Hockey and basketball. Ugh...

Great game last night! Definitely a few Cubs fans at progressive. Kluber was nasty! Miller and Allen did a great job too! Much respect for the Cubs they definitely have some power, hopefully we can keep it bottled up a few more games.

Game 2 played out exactly how most people thought it would. Indians need game three.

And the Cubs need Schwarber in the line up lol....but I'd love to see them not force it with him...but I'd also love to see him hit. Not cleared for field play yet though, unless they put Rizzo somewhere else and Schwarber at 1B I just don't see them risking him in the OF.

I'd start Almora and if needed bring Schwarber in for a PH and possibly stay for an inning or two. He is a defensive liability though in the OF.

If Kluber stays hot the Tribe will take game 4 and possibly 7 so that means the Cubs need to take games 3,5, & 6. (As Ty predicted)

I really hope they just use Schwarbs in a ph role at Wrigley. I would hate to see him possibly hurt his knee again in the outfield because we will need his bat to close it out when it shifts back to Ohio.

After two games its a tight race for MVP on the cubs side between Zobrist and Schwarber.

    Zobrist- 5 for 8 1 R 1 RBI 1 BB

    Schwarber- 3 for 7 1 R 2 RBI 2 BB

Agreed....although I don't see Kluger dominating to the degree he did, that was just insane seriously.

I agree, for the WS specifically I have Zobrist...however if bats even out and Arrietta dominates another start I could see them tossing it to him....unless Schwarber just keeps being a freaking Disney story type guy right now.

Also I'd throw Javy into the discussion for MVP but only IF his bat comes back to life in the WS....he has been the postseason MVP no doubt for this team though.
