I know everyone has their favorite team that they would like to see in the WS but I am hoping for a Dodger/Yankee series with the Dodgers winning. I am not really a fan of either team I just think all of the extreme extra drama will be fun.

I would LOVE to see Torre beat the yanks. But only if the Bosox don't get that far.

LA/ NYY would be great drama. But I'm not sure LA has the pitching to beat the Phillies in the first round, if it plays out that way.

I'd love to see a NYY/STL series, but thats the Cardinal fan in me.

All that really matters to me is that the Yanks DON'T win it!

I think the STL starters will have to go deep into games to make a run. Motte, McClellan, etc....they scare me in pressure situations.

9 times out of 10 the Cardianls score enough runs to make their middle relief absolete. The way they have been hitting the ball, coupled with the way Wainwright and Carpenter have been pitching, I'm not seeing much but an act of god from stopping them from getting to the series. Of course I sleep, eat, and breath Cardinal red from April to October every year.

If DeRosa can find his swing again, this is a very good lineup. I don't want to see Glaus strike out 4 times a night in the playoffs.
