There is no denying that Oquendo is a good coach, but no one knows if he'd be a good manager. At what cost is Maddon worth? The Rays will have to want major leage talent. Shelby Miller? Jon Jay? Where do you draw the line? I don't think Pujols signs before a manager is announced, but he's being signed to play 1B, not make front office moves. On a side note. Anyone catch Freese take a crack at Rasmus on Leno the other night by saying, "At some point you have to let your Dad be your Dad, and your coaches be your coaches."
