Season just opened and I know its early but who you got in the World series. Feel free to watch a few more games then make decision.

The AL is so tough this year and NL is wide open. So with that Im going with the Atlanta Braves (The let down last year will help them this year) and the Texas Rangers making it for 3rd time in a row. Every year people forget how good the Rangers are. Not sure who is going to win. Im leaning towards the Braves.

    WHO DO YOU GOT??

I like Detroit's chances as long as Leyland can stay out of his own way. So far he is 0-1 this year. Verlander throwing a 2 hitter, around 100 pitches, completely dominating, and Leyland takes him out. Jackson saved his butt in the bottom of the inning.

I hope they do. It would be awesome if they beat the Angels. What a story that would be. Very solid chance of repeating along as pitchers stay healthy. Is Adam Wainwright back?

If you picked the Yankees every year for about the last 100 years you would have been right over 25% of the time ......life as a Yankee fan is generally pretty good lol

Detroit is a solid bet, and obviously the AL East is still tough so it could be the Yanks, BoSox or Rays, but you never know what will happen come playoff time. The Angels/Rangers race will be very interesting
The NL really is a gamble. The Central will be a tough division to win, as I see a 3 way race to the top. The West will be a fun race to watch.
All that being said (very vaguely and generally) I pick Detroit to oust Brewers

The Cleveland Indians. With Ricky Vaughn's dominating pitching and Willie Mayes Hayes speed on the bases they are a lock. They will need Roger Dorn and Soranno to be more consistent hitting tho!!!!!

Reds are looking to have a good year. Hope they don't fall apart as they have my whole life after strong starts.

Ahh... it would be good to see the days of the Big Red MAchine return. I remember when they were rolling. I managed to catch a couple games over the years while visiting my sister in Cincinnatti. I was in the stands the night of the tornado... when was that.. 1969 or something like that.

I'm a die hard Braves fan, so I hope you're right. This is Chippers last season so it'd be awesome if he could get a 2nd world series title.

IMO, Phillies vs. Yankees. The Braves will lead the NL East up until about 20 games prior to clinching the division, then they'll go on a 12 game losing streak and the Phillies will go on a 12 game winning streak like every other year.

Being a huge Cards fan, I would love to say the Cards, but I see health being a major problem for them. I still think they win the Central though. I'm not drinking the Reds kool-aid, and I think the Brewers are still better.

Yanks win the AL East, Tigers win the Central, and the Rangers win the West. Angels and Rays are the Wild Card teams

Tigers beat the Angels in the ALCS.

Phillies still have enough pitching, and win the NL East. Waino leads the Cards to win the Central, and D-Backs win the West. Nationals and Brewers are the Wild Card teams.

Cards beat the D-Backs in NLCS.

In a rematch of '06, the Tigers get revenge and win the Series in 5 games.

Thats a pretty intense prediction. Sounds pretty reasonable too.
