As a hunter and a person who likes to carry a knife we all know there is one sure thing to count on and that is, our knife is going to get dull if we use it. If you are like me you may have struggled to find a sharpener that is easy to use, consistent and doesn’t grind away at your knife. Surfing around on the web awhile back I came across a brand new sharpener from Darex LLC a privately-held & family owned company based in Ashland, OR. They are also the makers of Work Sharp, Drill Doctor and Darex sharpeners. Selling over 3.000,000 sharpening tools since 1973 they have come to understand what sportsmen and serious knife users want and you get that in the new knife & tool sharpener. Completely created and assembled in the USA.
After many years of research, development and refinement WorkSharp has delivered a patent pending flexible belt sharpening technology that sharpens any knife type fast and with repeatable results on any of the following types of knives without burning or damaging blade steel:
Hunting knives, kitchen knives, pocket knives, serrated blades and other blades that can all be sharpened to a shaving sharp edge.
The sharpener doesn’t stop there; it will also take on such sharpening tasks as scissors, lawn mower blades, garden pruners and any other bladed cutting tools.
When you receive your sharpener you will get a complete set of flexible abrasive belts (P80 Coarse, P220 Medium belt and 6000 fine honing belt) and precision sharpening guides (50 degree for outdoor knives, 40 degree for kitchen knives) that can sharpen nearly any knife or blade cutting tool. The kit also does not leave you guessing on how to use it they include a quick start guide and an instructional DVD to get you started and answer any questions you may have. The one thing that struck me was the fact that this sharpener will put a convex edge on any knife. This is the type of edge most of your high end knives use and is a much longer lasting more durable edge. I personally have sharpened about 15 knives so far ranging from a Case pocket knife, Serrated to kitchen knives. All have sliced right through a sheet of paper with little to no effort. This has all been facilitated on a consistent basis. I am now a happy camper and hunter too!
So, put down your grinding stone, files, and grinding wheels and order your Knife & Tool Sharpener and never worry about sharpening another knife.

My brother has one and it works like a charm. Has sharpened many of my knives.
