Work and all the other events of life are keeping out of the stand all week. I am not at all happy with that. Just had to vent cuz 6 days not on the stand has got to be like a fish out of water!

Oh yeah. Too many projects going on here for me as well. I was spoiled this time last year, I had 12 hunts under my belt. This year, 4...
At least I've gotten out 4 time, right?!

Look at it this way... your working.

I got loaned out the other day for a job worked 11 hour day with a ten min lunch and at the end of the day the guy didn't have any money to pay me. I found out on the way home when his card didn't work to pay for his soda and he asked me for a couple of bucks so he have his drink that he already started drinking.

My boss called me later that night to see how it went that day,he got a earfull.

I haven't been out hunting once yet. I'm pushing hard to finish a log home shell so I can get out in the woods. Then I got a log home refinishing project added on just last week. My target date to wrap everything is Oct. 20th. After that I'm putting the tools away and going hunting!
A few pics of the log home I'm working on:

Tell me about it. I work 12 hours a day, six days a week, 4 PM- 4AM. I did manage to take off early last night and get a couple of hours sleep before hitting the woods. No luck. I saw a decent buck, but it was with the headlights of my truck. Nothing after the sun came up.(:()

rbhunting, that is one hell of a work schedule....dang.

Heck, we are very short staffed at work and I have put in to work a ton of overtime. The money is hot when it is hot and I am going to get it for my family. If I don't get to hunt for 4-5 days, then that is the way it is going to have to be baby!

I was hired to do the wall logs only. The homeowner wants to do the rest himself.
