Why you ask? You have a buck with my name on it up there? :p I have been saving my pennies all summer! I did learn my lesson last year. I am going go at it again this year but in reverse. Meaning I am going to try to hunt Nebraska early and focus my efforts on 2 properties I hunted last year. I hope this will be a little easier on me with the benefit of more daylight for evening hunts.
Who would of thought though? Two that size from one tree is rare. I have a spot you can hunt, but no guarantees.
From what I have seen so far it could easily be three from that same tree! Might be the first time in 5+ years I am going to hunt the same property on opening day. My boy asked me if he could hunt that spot during youth season and I told him NO! :p He's gota earn it. Not going to ruin him by giving it to him on a platter being it will be his first buck if he is successful. I am getting up the nerve to post some trail camera pics of "Monsta" and his buddies! I am going to give it 4 more weeks before I make any claims to just how big he is this year!
Sign up regardless. Great way to interact and learn some new things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks... And yes, it's the best part of the contest the friendships made. Good stuff (even if you can't understand them)
I wouldn't show them wither Jason, unless you attached the cordinates. You have no doubt found a true honey hole!
I read the rules, and signed up. But question....if I shoot a doe first, will that still count for my 50 points, and if/when I get a buck that'll be the "bigger" score?
Last year was my first year in the contest for this forum and I loved it. As far as these bow hunting contests go I think its the best one I have been a part of glad I found this forum. If your on the fence about signing up I say go for it!
I'm really looking forward to it, too. I love to bowhunt, and this contest just adds another dimension and magnifies the fun.
