Does anyone know why my name isn't on the sign up list ? I should be #112 but I guess some one didn't see I already had that number !
Now the question is, do I sign up or not. I'm going to miss bow season in Alabama with my move to NC, and miss the public land season in NC. I know Sam has offered to let me hunt with him once I get there, just don't really want to hose a team by not contributing to the score if timing doesn't go well. Gotta love the Army, just HAD to move me during bow season lol
Here’s an idea for ya; it’s what I did two years ago. I love to hunt but I just don’t get out very often. Young child, job, hunting grounds 3 ½ hours from home, I’m lucky to get one weekend a month during the season. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to contribute to the team I landed on and didn’t want to screw them. However, I really wanted to join a team and get involved. So I signed up as a sub as soon as Fitz started the list for replacements. I figured that even 3 or 4 weekends out of me would be better than a guy that can’t bother to check in after he’s assigned to a team. This way you’ll end up on a team and you’ll be more active on the team thread than the guy you replaced. Even if you don’t get out very much you’re still better than the guy whose place you took.
Won't be able to do it this year, although I'll get a doe at the least. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Join up bud, it's about way more than how much you can hunt. I'd rather have 6 guys who communicate than one who never does but drops a 200+ incher.
I'll take the 200 inches... You should see some of the guys that have been put on my team... ###cough/Matt/cough###
"Put on my team" Like I am some highly sought after celebrity. Score means little (unless someone does get one, then it's pretty awesome regardless of size), the friendships I have made thanks to this contest is what brings me back year after year
