My dad has been wanting a woodshed lately, so I designed one for him. So we spent yesterday and half of today building it.

It's 16'x8' in treated pine with cedar 1x4 slats. We're still waiting for the metal roofing to ship in.

It worked out pretty well, and we finished just after noon as the snow started to fly. You can see his dog Gunny was a big help... he rolled his ball under the floor every 5 minutes or so!

Looks good Fitz. I need to build one on the backside of my barn to double as fuel storage to keep all the flammables out of my main work area.

Figure I'd throw a couple final shots of the shed up. The roofing came in Tuesday, so the wife and I popped it up to finish the project. Now the old man can start choppin' wood :tu:

He wanted it in that particular spot, so I didn't really have much room to spin it. It's facing SW. Ideally, the opening would face south, but I don't think it'll matter much.

My free time would be in the winter Mark. But I'm already on the books for finishing my buddy's basement in Madison :tu:

and here I was all ready to have you and Schultzy here at the same time. We coulda "oofta'd" til the wee hours of the morning dontcha know! lol I was just kidding on the cabin. If the place sells and we only have the 17 acres, already got mama's blessing to get a couple garage kits and build them into a cabin with garage for the truck while I'm down here and have space for the tractor too.
