woods or fields?

    what do you guys like to hunt this early in the season. i have alot of hardwoods to hunt, but i also have alot of field edges to hunt, the fields are not crops just hay fields. just not sure what direction i need to go?

    everywhere is different. you need to do some scouting.

    If the hardwoods have acorns I'm there. I'm in the woods no matter what I don't want to see deer I can't shoot.

    yeah i agree on the seeing deer you can't get a shot at....i would think that field edges would work this time of year simply because there is still residual feed (assuming the fields are corn, beans, etc.)

    Most of the deer are staying where the acorns are if you have them, hunt them!
