    Work great as long as you hit solid. Ive bent just a few with off angle shots. But for the most part, they work just fine for stumping.

    Good discussion! I am of a different opinion these days. BAMBOO! Very strong. Shoot fantastic. Naturally tapered for better penetration. And affordable! I love them so much I started selling them and have sold a bunch. Well worth a try!

    Im curious, what type of bamboo. Or do you mean cane?

    It's tonkin bamboo straight from across the pond. Very nice to shoot. Very tough. I have seen them broken, but way stronger than cedar. Shot a big doe last year with a bamboo - less than perfect broadside shot - and had great penetration and got to see her tip over!
