Ely was the warmest place in Minnesota yesterday! We hit 59! The lake looks nasty this am and the driveway (1 mile) that is packed snow and ice, is in rough shape. I had to meet the UPS driver at the highway, said he'd gotten stuck 3 times so far that day. It's going to cool down tonight, luckily! We have guests checking in this weekend, and if it doesn't freeze, there is no way they'll be able to get to their cabins. Highs in the teens this weekend, should firm things right up.
