I just hung a new set last week. I used my tree spider saftey harness with with the linesman belt. This is the first time I have used a linesman belt while hanging a stand. I cant believe I waited this long to use one. It was so much easier and SAFER to be able to use both hands and not try and hang on with one arm like a monkey and hang the stand with the other. If any one is still doing it this way I strongly recommend you use a linesman belt, you never know what can happen out there. I have owned a number of saftey harness, but so far the tree spider is my favorite. It is very easy to use and it has a spot built in to hook your linesman belt to. Good luck to everyone this year, wear your safety harness and please hunt safe.

They are a thing of beauty Tom. I just started the same thing this past summer and was amazed like you too.

Safer and easier, what more could you ask for?

Good for you MR. The people in your life will appreciate it.

Hanging a stand without a linesman belt might be dumber than sitting in one without a harness. I always surprised at how many people don't use one.

I really don't see how you guys could hang a stand WITHOUT a lineman's rope. Glad to hear you're being safe.

Will second the Tree Spider and ease of use.

It makes hanging a set so much safer, and you can work with both hands. I use my Lone Wolf linemans rope with my Tree Saddle for prepping a site and hanging climbing sticks. The linemans can act as a "table" for getting your sticks ready to hang.
