New bows your not going to get a very good one in that price range. You may want to check craigslist or go to shop to see what kind of used bows they have. I bought my last used bow back in 05 for 400 and it is an 03. You should be able to find a few year old bow for that price.

Craigslist and this site are going to be your best bet. Even the used bows at dealers are overpriced. Mathews, PSE, Hoyt, Bowtech, all good brands to consider.

consider buying a past year bow and you can get them quite a bit cheaper than this years.

I prefer Mission...Mathews put technology in this company they bought...no frills..gitterdone bow.
I have the x4,x5...light weight, compact and quiet....Mine IMHO is quieter than the new stuff...Has a few Mods for that .......I would have liked the buckmaster only because of the roller guide.
    X4 & X5 $349 & $449
Not bad this is the real deal bare bones bad a$$ little bow!
    You will not regret!
    I'm sure there are others!
Buckmaster - One on Ebay now little pricey 400-500 but good stuff!
