My prayers have been answered. I'm looking for a good women's / kids bow for my wife. She has a pretty small frame. Anyone out there with a wife that has a bow? If so, what did she/you choose? Did it turn out to be a good bow?

I'm interested in the that diamond, my girlfriend has expressed a little interest and have been thinking about getting her a bow. i just read a couple ads on ebay and both rated the IBO at 308, at a max of 29lbs with a 29inch draw... how the hell do they get 308 out of 29lbs? do you think, after seeing that bow shoot that it could possibly shoot near 300?

edit: NVM both of those ads were written by the same fool that said the max weight was 29lbs its 60lbs, i guess that makes more sense for 300fps. still seems quick!

My wife shoots a Mathews Drenalin and likes it. She wants the Passion now, so we may be selling her bow. 40# @26" if I remember right.

My gf has the passion and loves it. She got the 50lb limbs and her draw length is set at 24" I believe. Shes right around 5 foot.
With the new Tiffany setup for this year Im sure your wife would love one as well. Black riser, black limbs with pink dampeners and pink dead end sring stop along with pink twist zebra bow string.

Bowtech Heartbreak. Bowtech Soldier. Bowtech Razors Edge. All very capable bows and, good for short draw length.

My wife and I are going to look at the Hoyt Vicxen. Its a smaller frame bow made specifically for women. Let us know what you go with Evan.

I shoot a 29" draw and my girlfriend's wing span is as long as mine, she's also as tall as me with legs that go on forever... as i could talking about them! ... anyway i'm wondering if im going to have a hard time finding a bow at 28-29" that she can pull?

well you should find out how much she can pull. if she can pull 50 lbs then she can get into a lot more bows.

A year ago, I'd have told ya to look for a used Bowtech Equalizer or buy a Razor Edge brand new. Now, I tell ya to shoot the Bowtech Heartbreaker, toe to toe with the D350 and it performs. It's a badass smallframe/women's bow.

Razor Edge by diamond is a good bow for woman and it meets what your looking for. The draw weight can go all the way down to 29 pounds. And everyone whose ladies are interested count your blessing because i cant even get my gf to touch a bow lol

picked up a 20111 Mission Craze for my wife in pink lost camo. She had never shot a bow and it fits her great. There is so much adjustment in the bow I couldnt go wrong. I got scared when she started clipping arrows the first time shooting.

    Good luck.

I appreciate the thoughts boys, I'm guessing 45lbs would be about tops right now for comfortable shooting maybe even around 40, I dont believe she wants to hunt, just shoot with me, so I'm not real worried about KE on her bow. Just want her to be comfortable enough to enjoy it. Going to definitely start looking into a bow for her as soon as I graduate, and start working! this poor college-kid game sucks!

Been thinking about getting the little lady a bow also. I like the passion myself but will let her try a bunch as it will be hers. She is small framed also 120# 5'8.

Although I'm a little concerned are the majority of bow hunters not married for a reason lol?

How many bows do you buy to get the right one? (Girl)
