So much for they only kill the weak and sick in a herd. She was a 32 y/o boxer and marathon runner from PA. Sad, sad story.

That would be a terrible way to go.

    Imagine the fear.

Give me a break guys...Someone is killed by a wolf and all of a sudden it's kill'em all. Wolves have a right to be here also, but unlike the PETA NUT CASES out there I know the wolf population needs to be kept in check through hunting/trapping just like any other game animal. It just really eats at me when I see hunters completely against the wolf because all your doing is being a nutcase on the opposite end of the spectrum. Common sense tells you we need balance not destruction so let's be above those like PETA and use some common sense. By the way more people have been killed by deer, bear, domestic dogs and coyotes over the years then wolves. If you don't believe that then do your home work.

Goes to show ya what an animal will do for food when its starving. I guess this is what happens when you let them kill all of the moose without having predator control. There are fewer and fewer moose every year and more and more wolves and bears.

That's exactly right...If there population was kept in check that would solve 98% of the problems. These government agencies need to quit sleeping with PETA and show some respect to the hunters that know what they are talking about. Look at all the money hunters, trappers, fisherman etc... put into they're pockets every year and all we get are shorter seasons, less game animals, more predators, more gun control, increased fees and the list goes on and on. Hunting is nearing it's end and if you don't believe that then you are blind. As long as we don't stick together your Grand children will only know how to hunt and carry on these traditions through a video screen. So sad, but true!
