all of these are from 6/3 with first pic around 8am, 2nd around 11pm and 2nd wolf around 4pm...no sign of pups though there is a fresh deer carcass at the other set - literally overlapping the old carcass and guess what - I forgot to put a card in the danged cam so all I got pics of were little critters, the big yote(again) and myself leaving the set :Hammer wolf one wolf 2(the cream colored one I got pics of all winter?)
I think I'd be scared to go into the woods in the dark if I knew there were wolves around. Great pictures even though those things are scary.
Little trick I learned early on was to set your exposure back a little(usually have it set to -2/3). I do this especially for close up shots at night so I don't get flash burn/washout. So most of my pics come out a little dark and I then just adjust the brightness and contrast with windows live photo editor. For some reason it also seems to get me better color in the daytime as well. One other thing you need to do is make sure your lens glass is clean - I carry a cloth or paper towel in a Ziploc bag and clean the glass anytime I see any smears, spots, or dust when I check the cards. These cameras are so underrated and have always given me super crisp pics even if they are a little short on the megapixels.
