    I have caught one here in West texas that was 40 I had to weigh him he was huge killed lots of kid goats. I got him an the female in the same night. But I agree most are smaller here. Up north I was curious if they got bigger because of the temperature being colder?

    Don't think that cold has anything to do with it. Definitely wolf coyote crossing going on around here.

    We don't have much wolf/coyote crossing here. The wolves primarily kill the yotes. I've only seen one coyote with my bare eyes and only 3 or 4 on trail cameras ever.

    That's definitely a coyote that looks black but is actually shaded

    My guess is a coyote for sure. Just by the shape of the nose and body and the other one in the background all lead me to think its a coyote.
