I recently placed a Ameristep Big Buddy two man ladder stand in a 6 inch diameter cedar tree. I have found it moved tremendously. Any ideas to fix this or lessen the wobble?

Sounds like a small tree for a ladder stand. For any stand for that matter.

Its definetly the size of the tree thats the problem. I would reccomend finding a thicker tree in the area to put your stand in.

Yep, way too small of a tree for a stand that big.

Bigger tree. You could rig it but would you really want to. If you have to be there get a tripod stand.

All the above but if you can't find any more trees, take and drill a hole where the teeth are through the pipe into the tree then take Mabey 2" to3" poll barn screws with 1/4" head and screw her in that should tighten her up quite a bit!
