I was on the net the other day and just typed in WKP and came across a some kind of business tracker where they give detail and stats of businesses...well I found they had the stats for the WKP company...this web page said there 2 employees and that they estimate the company does a whopping $82,000 a year....my point it....these guys do not do this for money, they do not live on huge expansive farms and lease 1,000s upon 1,000s of acrs...they have very little actually, and the hunters you see on their vids do not get paid.. they just love bowhunting whitetails and yet, with a very strict budget, put out the best hunting dvds I have ever seen...this goes to show, when you put your soul into something and make it a goal to live out your dreams, it will happen. you know the ol line..."build it and they will come" well, Todd P., you have built, I, we, are coming...thanks for your hard work, all of you...after doing some filming these last 2 yrs, I can certainly appreciate what yall have done. Everyone on here should give their dvds a chance, they are what it's all about.

I couldn't agree with you more. I was given a DVD from them to watch by another forum member and within days, I was ordering the whole set. I can't wait until the new one comes out soon. I have not personally met Todd P. but have had e-mail correspondence with him and can safely say he is a class act. Thank you WKP for doing what you do!

    Todd:

Any interest (internally or externally) been indicated for you guys to include a traditional hunt or four (lol) in your upcoming vids?

It's a niche', for sure. Just wondering.

Todd, Best of Luck to you always. I realize there are some who actually make a living through the sport, but honestly most do it because they Love the sport and being involved in it.

Love to see it when it happens, though. I'll keep checking in.

I think that is the main appeal of WKP. They're just regular dudes, but still putting it together on slammer bucks with a genuine love of the hunt.

They lose properties and have to find new ones just like the rest of us.

What draws me to these guys is the fact they don't go thru outfitters and they even hunt some public stuff and yet, they do kill whoppers...I tell ya what, everytime I watch Todd pass on Bently I cringe....that takes balls!

here is the site I got the info from...

I know Todd and am proud to call him a friend, (he may be horrified by this) that said class act, loves what he does and beleives in it. You just don't find better people than Todd and the members of his staff that I have met.

    WKP produces a great product.

I love their videos. I absolutely enjoy watching Todd P. His excitement and enthusiasm for the sport is so genuine and real that it's contagious.

WKP vids have gotten better every year and I look forward to Ground Zero. Would have like to contributed this year, but alas, Johnny and I couldn't pull it off.

With that said, I find it a little odd/lame that someone would look up a company from a member here and post the financial info....whether it be accurate or not.

Dan, I didn't look it up..I was looking at things on WKP on google just to see what I would get and this was one of the sites...It's obvious that it's public knowledge and the point I was making was that these guys do not do this for the money....they don't want to get rich off of us like other productions...they just want to put it out there for guys like me and many on here to show it can be done...how do you see a problem with it?

I am under the same pressure to "make money" that any business owner is faced with when you've used your own money to keep a business running for a few years. At some point, it is a business, so I have to work with our sponsors to help me along the way. I simply have to make money to keep this running! It takes ALOT of DVD's to pay the costs of doing this I can assure you! Every-single DVD we can sell direct helps!

We appreciate the business from each of you I can tell you!

I buy these products from WKP b/c I believe in what they do, and I also promote their products b/c I want to see them succeed. It's rare to see people do someting for the love of it...yes, it's a business and you should try to make a living doing it, but like I said, Todd left a career in engineering to chase his dream and he also knew it would tough to make and yet he is making it, not millions, but he is making it, and I hope the millions come b/c of the way he started, with guys like us in mind..I have hats, shirts, decals, dvds, and just about anything WKP and I wear it so people will ask what it is....then I tune them in to the whole thing....why do I ? b/c I believe they have created what a veteran hunter like me wants to see....the TRUTH about bowhunting whitetails......
