That will not happen. Last year I had 7 companies that sold individual health insurance. Now I have 1. Many companies stopped selling the individual plans all together, becuase they don't want the pre existing conditions mess.
The main question is whether health care should be a state or a national issue. Had the Confederacy won the US Civil War, this would now be considered a state issue. Since the Union won however, the Federals are free to step in and ramrod this down the states throats. Romney care was a state issue, and I think most people can live with that. Whether a Federal system will work or not is anyone's guess. California could never afford Romney-care, so even though it is a very socialist almost communist society, it could never afford to do this at the state level. So California hospitals will now receive Federal benefits for giving out emergency room services to the poor and uninsured from now on. Stock prices of for-profit hospitals have just started skyrocketing to take into account the 2014 windfall they will then receive. So the hospital CEOs are quite happy now.
If this healthcare plan is go good and fair and just (even if it exempts Muslims) why does it also exempt the president, his wife and the US senate and Congress? Page 114 line 22.
So this new tax is not what obummer wanted even though he wants it?????? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wzs3aoRnl0E&feature=youtu.be I think this is perhaps the best thing that could have happened to Mitt Romney and his becoming president. THe SCOTUS just voted to make obummer a one term president. Sweet!
Romney supports the piece they just tried to repeal. He even called the mandate conservative, lol The Ultimate Conservative Plan, I stand corrected

It was a neo-con thing ( they are not conservatives any more ) until the democrats liked it, then it became poison.
It is conservative in the sense that a conservative interpretation of the Constitution clearly allows Congress to tax. It was a tricky ruling however because it dealt with a cleverly disguised tax. It is a good thing (for Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and the hospitals) that Roberts saw through the hidden tax and looked-through the clever disguise. If the so-called conservatives were really conservative, they would admit that the Constitution is silent about same-gender marriage and stop squaking about it. The constitution is clearly silent about women's private parts and abortion, and the conservatives have got that part right, at least.
So if I could some this up: Republicans liked the mandate in 1993 Democrats did not Hillary liked it in 2008 Obama did not Romney did like it in 2008 2010 Obama was on board But Romney got off the board. Meanwhile we are stuck with a law that does not work, but cost a lot of money. Aka no child left behind Brilliant
Like I said............Politicians........they are only beholden to whatever gets them elected and, more and more, it is not the American people.
Has anyone seen the actual decision posted anywhere? It isn't on the Supreme Court's website and I'd like to read over it.
Is this going to turn the 2012 elections into a repeat of the 2010 midterms, which could give the republicans control of the senate, house and white house? As much as i hope so to repeal obamacare, I really do not like it when one party has control of all 3 branches, The more of a stalemate in congress the less harm they can do.
