I look towards our own Jawshooter (Jaws aka Dan) for any inspiration that I'll ever need. He never even picked up a bow until he lost his right arm. He's not only an incredible hunter with multiple animals with his bow, he's also an accomplished tournament archer and one hell of a nice guy and good friend.

He might not like it but I admire him and am looking forward to hunting with him and RJ again this year.

That guy shoots better than a few bowhunters I know. Good for him not giving up!

I definitely learned something tonight. I didn't realize this was even possible.

Shooting a bow one-handed is simply awesome! Kudos to Jawshooter and others that have overcome a remarkable feat!

Wow! What an awesome story. I feel very fortunate after watching that especially since I was involved in a motorcycle accident a couple years ago, myself. Mad props to Tim Farmer!

Hah, don't stroke his ego too much guys, his head won't fit into my truck for our trip to PA this weekend. ;)

All joking aside, Dan's a great shooter. He did shoot before he lost his arm, but never competitively, he really got motivated for that afterwards.

Dan no longer shoots a chew tab like the guy in the video, he's now shooting a modified thumb trigger that is fired just like I would use a back tension release. Dan did win 2x NETAA world titles with the chew tab though, as well as a handful of state titles with both the chew tab and his current setup.

I'm humbled by both of these guys. The guy from the Video is a member on Archerytalk if I remember correctly, and is still a heck of a shooter. Drive to continue hunting/shooting is now doubt a very powerful thing.

RJ, thanks for that correction. I was under the impression he didn't shoot before. Nonetheless, Dan deserves a little ego stroke from time to time even though I know he doesn't want it. Dan is just being Dan and hunting with the rest of us and regardless, he still exudes inspiration whether he intents that or not. Kudos Dan but what makes Dan, Dan, is his passion. He is by far without limitations.
