The fishing was really tough, and by really tough I mean painfully tough. We knew it'd be slow because of the cold water temps... We ended up only weighing one fish (The limit is 5 a team, with a 15" min on spotted, small mouth, and large mouth bass) for an overall weight of 2.15 lbs. That was good enough for 11th place out of a field of 40. Something like 20 teams didn't even catch a legal fish, and some teams didn't even get a bite all day. Purdue ended up winning the tourney with 7 lbs and some change....but knowing that if we caught one more 15"er we'd likely have place top 5 and advanced to regionals made for a long 750mile drive home. We really did have a blast though, FLW college fishing is run very smooth, and it's a blast talking to all the other teams.
